Join us on Saturday, September 22 as we celebrate Cincinnati’s own hippo hero, the legendary Fiona! We’re welcoming artist and famed illustrator Richard Cowdrey to Jungle Jim’s Fairfield, where he’ll be meeting fans and signing copies of his picture book, Fiona the Hippo, which was created in partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
Fiona the Hippo tells the story of Fiona’s difficult birth, her inspiring struggle, and her limitless perseverance and rise to stardom. It’s been lauded as one of 2018’s greatest children’s books and will be available to purchase at the book signing!
But that’s not all! We’ll also have Graeter’s limited-edition Chunky Chunky Hippo ice cream flavor! Join us on Saturday, September 22 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM to celebrate everything hippo and to create lifelong memories with your children and family members.
