Ingredients (yields 1 ½ cups)
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- ½ cup shredded Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon (or more) white wine
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat and whisk in sour cream.
- Add cream cheese, whisking until thickened and smooth.
- Add Parmesan cheese and garlic, stirring until cheese melts.
- Thin sauce as desired with white wine.
- Serve over pasta or vegetables.
