Soft, sweet and buttery taste. Free from fiber. When properly ripened, it has a sweet and fruity aroma.
The best way to cut a mango is to slice it in half around the large pit, score the fruit, flip skin inside-out, and cut.
Ingredients (yields 2 quarts)
2 cups mango pulp
1 cup plain whole milk yogurt
½ cup half and half
½ cup white sugar
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender or large bowl and blend or whisk until smooth. If necessary, chill the mixture until very cold and give it one last whir or stir.
Pop chilled lassi mixture into your ice cream machine and freeze according to the manufacturer’s directions.
Once the ice cream machine is finished, transfer the frozen yogurt to a freezer-safe container and freeze until it’s firmed to your liking (this might take a few hours). If the frozen yogurt freezes quite hard, give it a few minutes to warm up before you start scooping. Enjoy!
