Bacon Wrapped Scallops

Ingredients
- 24 large scallops (approximately 2 pounds)
- 12 slices bacon
- Salt
- Seasoned pepper
Directions
- Rinse scallops in cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Cut each piece of bacon crosswise in half. Wrap one piece of bacon around scallop and secure with toothpick.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place on rack in broiling pan.
- Broil 8-10 minutes turning frequently until bacon is brown on all sides and scallops are opaque.
