Cento Traditional Passata

Thinking of Italian food, what comes to mind? For most people, they immediately think of a beautiful bowl of pasta with sauce. However, in Italy, the sauce is much more important than one may think. Cento Traditional Passata is made using the finest sieved Italian tomatoes that remove the skin and seeds, leaving an authentic tomato base with a smooth, creamy consistency. This sauce is light in sugar but packs a bold traditional flavor that will leave you wanting seconds of any dish you prepare. ReModena Truffle Balsamic Organic

Italy’s history of balsamic dates back to the beginning of the 11th century. The production of this very particular vinegar was linked to the Modena and Reggio Emilia areas. There are many forms of this delicious garnish, but we wanted to introduce you to one of our favorites. The Remodena Condiment with “Balsamic Vinegar of Modena” and Truffle is a must-have balsamic vinegar derived from the union of truffle and balsamic vinegar of Modena, aged in oak barrels. Its dense and brilliant brown creates a complex, intense, and pleasant truffle aroma with woody notes. Grab yourself a bottle from our display and try pairing it with some meat, potatoes, cheese, or eggs.

Isola All Natural Artisan Baked Biscotti

​The word Biscotto is used in modern Italian to refer to a biscuit (or cookie) of any kind. Although commonly used to indicate the biscuits of Prato, biscotti di Prato, in modern Italy and Argentina, they are also known widely by the name “cantuccini.” The confusion with the name is still present on the old Sign of “Biscottificio Antonio Mattei.” They are the leading manufacturer of biscuits of Prato. The Sign reads just below the shop’s name: “Manufacturers of cantuccini,” which were one of the significant products of the biscuits. The Sign has remained unchanged, and after such a long time, people associate the name “cantuccini” with the biscuits. Regardless of the name, these crunchy treats are a staple of Italian cuisine! Any of our three flavors, Cranberry, Chocolate, or Almond, are the perfect pairing for your morning cup of coffee or your evening espresso. Grab a box from our display and start dipping!
