“Masskrugstemmen” is a Bavarian sport whose name translates loosely to “the lifting of a liter mug of beer.” The “Masskrug”, a 1-liter stein, must be held with one arm, completely stretched out and parallel to the floor. The winner of the contest will get to go to Cleveland (hotel and transportation provided!) to compete in regional competition. The winner of the Cleveland Masskrugstemmen will get to go to the national competition in New York City and the national winner will receive a grand prize trip to Munich, Germany!
