Welcome to Discoveries at the Jungle, where every month we pick a theme and explore items from around the Jungle that you might not have found on your own! We do this through our blog, with videos, recipes, and our brand new Discovery Box.

This month we’re exploring the world of Japanese foods, and we are so excited that we’re putting together one Discovery Box this month, but two! The first box will feature Japanese snacks raging from sweet to savory, and the second box has items that will help enhance your own sushi-making experience.

We are excited to bring together two great aspects of Japanese culture in-store, online, and at home. Join us and discover something new today!

Wel Pac Saki Ika Squid

Probably the most adventurous snack in the Discoveries program this month! This is a tasty dried squid snack that is full of flavor and protein. Think of it as squid jerky!

Morinaga Hi-Chews

​If you love Starburst, you have just found your candy of choice within this month’s Discoveries at the Jungle. These chewy fruit candies from Japan have been around since the 50s and come in seven flavors. If you’re the kind of person who really likes a particular flavor of Starburst, Hi-Chew actually packages their flavors separately. No more giving all those lemon chews away!

We love coming to the “Jungle”. I was wondering if you sell Hi-Chews in pineapple… I have heard they are an exclusive item from Hawaii… Please let me know
