Ghost peppers can be eaten alone as a dare or can be enjoyed by those that like intense heat. Otherwise, these are usually used sparingly in dishes that benefit from a touch of heat or spice.
Ghost pepper seeds are inedible and are known to produce intense mouth pain when eaten. The pain can last up to 30 minutes, so be careful!
The Scoville rating for ghost peppers is as high as 1,000,000!
