Maker’s Mark Private Selection Release

America’s favorite bourbons often bear the names of their male creators, so you may be surprised to learn that much of America’s bourbon history has been shaped and influenced by women! This is most evident in the history of Maker’s Mark, one of Kentucky’s most popular and time-tested bourbons, whose labels, font, and very name are attributed to Margie Samuels, co-founder of Maker’s Mark! Since Maker’s Mark’s conception 170 years ago, the bourbon industry has evolved so that more and more women are distilling, distributing, and drinking bourbon! Earlier this year, Jungle Jim’s partners Molly Wellmann and Britney Ruby Miller of Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse traveled to Loretto, KY to personally visit Maker’s Mark Distillery. Here, they participated in the Maker’s Mark Private Select program where they created their own bourbon with a flavor profile that is entirely unique and one-of-a-kind. On Friday, November 30, Molly and Britney are coming to Jungle Jim’s Fairfield to celebrate the release of this signature bourbon! Beginning at 10:00 AM, you can purchase a bottle of bourbon, have it signed by Molly and Britney, and speak to them about their experiences!
