Apple Spice Cake

Ingredients (serves 12)
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon cloves
- 1 ¼ cups vegetable oil
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups chopped, peeled apples
- 1 cup chopped, toasted nuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 12-cup bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, soda, salt and spices.
- Add oil, eggs and vanilla and stir until well combined.
- Fold in apples and nuts.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake until a toothpick tests clean, about 1 hour.
- Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely on a rack.
