Ingredients (serves 12)
3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cloves
1 ¼ cups vegetable oil
3 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups chopped, peeled apples
1 cup chopped, toasted nuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease a 12-cup bundt pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, soda, salt and spices.
Add oil, eggs and vanilla and stir until well combined.
Fold in apples and nuts.
Pour into prepared pan and bake until a toothpick tests clean, about 1 hour.
Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely on a rack.
