Baked Sausage and Apples
Ingredients (serves 8)
- 24 ounces small link sausages
- 4 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced ¼-inch thick
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Arrange sausage in a single layer in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Bake 15-20 minutes, until beginning to brown.
- Drain fat.
- Arrange apples around sausage and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Bake an additional 30-35 minutes, stirring 2-3 times, until sausage is cooked through and apples are tender.
