Ingredients (serves 4)
8 fresh pineapple rings
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
Oil for greasing grill grate
Directions
Prepare grill for medium-high direct heat.
Dip each pineapple slice into melted butter, then dip in sugar.
Grease grill grate.
Place pineapple on hot grill, turning with tongs, until hot and caramelized, 3-5 minutes per side.
Serve immediately, or cool to room temperature.
Serve with small scoops of ice cream or sorbet, drizzled with caramel sauce or rum.
