Grilled Pineapple

Ingredients (serves 4)
- 8 fresh pineapple rings
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- Oil for greasing grill grate
Directions
- Prepare grill for medium-high direct heat.
- Dip each pineapple slice into melted butter, then dip in sugar.
- Grease grill grate.
- Place pineapple on hot grill, turning with tongs, until hot and caramelized, 3-5 minutes per side.
- Serve immediately, or cool to room temperature.
- Serve with small scoops of ice cream or sorbet, drizzled with caramel sauce or rum.
