Tips
- The flavor of a kumquat is similar to that of an orange, but with a sweet rind and a sour, juicy center.
- Kumquats are ripe when they turn yellow-orange and lose their green tint.
- These can be used in preserves, sliced in salads, or eaten whole.
Ingredients

Directions
- Wash kumquats and cover with water in a non-aluminum saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
