Preheat oven to 400°. Line a rimmed half-sheet pan with foil. Line a plate with paper
towels.
Arrange bacon on prepared baking sheet in a single layer. The slices can touch, but
don’t overlap or they will stick together.
Bake until bacon is browned and crispy to your preference, about 15 minutes for regular
bacon and 18-20 minutes for thick-cut bacon. Exact baking time depends on your oven
and thickness of the bacon. Begin checking after 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and use tongs to remove bacon to paper towel lined plate.
