​Ziyad Pomegranate Sauce

Since 1966, Ziyad has been specializing in Middle Eastern foods here in the United States. They bring in the best of the best along with hard to find products. This pomegranate sauce can be used as a topping to add a bittersweet taste to main courses, such as meats and vegetables, and also on some deserts or even salad!

Did you know? ​The pomegranate is native to Iran, Saudi Arabia, Northern India, Bengal, and Southern Asia and is cultivated widely throughout the Middle East, India, southeast Asia, and parts of Africa.

​Made by Mavis Pomegranate-Pinot Noir Jelly

​Made right across the river in Covington, Kentucky, Mavis has been following her dream since graduating college. She enrolled in cooking school in Chicago, trained with master Mexican chefs, and traveled the world, stopping to take classes in Italy. This pomegranate Pinot Noir jelly is amazing on baked brie, mixed with blue cheese on pork chops, melted to be used as a glaze, or on your a variety of breads! This sweet and tangy jam is something you absolutely shouldn’t miss!
