Every single aisle in our International Department is filled to the brim with fun snacks from around the world (and of course other food as well), and we think it’s an adventure exploring them all. So let’s dive into our next two selections shall we?

Lorenz Curly Peanut Classic – Germany

​Lorenz first introduced peanut flips to the German market in 1963. These delicious curls have been on sale in France since 1960 under the name “Curly.” These snacks are crispy but then they melt in your mouth with a rich peanut butter flavor.

Did you know: One of the most popular German treats that makes it way around the world are the Kinder Surprise Egg. It’s a chocolate egg that contains a toy inside. Sadly, they are banned in the US because of the choking hazard.

Deep Original Hot Mix – India

​Deep Foods, Inc. is a family-owned and operated manufacturer of authentic all natural Indian cuisine since 1977. Their Hot Mix is one of the most popular snacks in India! It’s traditionally known as “Bhusu” or “Chawanu” and customarily taken with tea at breakfast. Basically Hot Mix is like a spicy Chex Mix and is great at parties or eating with an ice cold beer.
