Jungle Jim’s International Market prides ourselves on bringing you the best variety of food from all over the globe, right here in your backyard. And what better food to indulge yourself with than some international snacks? Every single aisle in our International Department is filled to the brim with fun snacks from around the world (and of course other food as well), and we think it’s an adventure exploring them all. So let’s dive into our final two selections shall we?

Croky Snacks – Belgium

​Roger and Roger is a Belgian company that has been around since 1999 that specializes in potato chips, or “crisps” as they’re called in Europe. Corky Snacks is their biggest division and is actually named after the owner’s pet parrot. Give their paprika chips a try and add a little spice to your daily snack!

Did you know: Belgium produces 220,000 tonnes of chocolate per year. This amounts to 22 kg of chocolate per inhabitant annually, i.e. 61 grammes per day in average. The world’s biggest chocolate selling point is Brussels National Airport.

Garuda  Peanuts – Indonesia

​Garuda has been producing peanut based snacks since 1990 in Indonesia. These tasty snacks are batter-covered peanuts  that come in an array of different flavors. It’s a tasty twist on a simple snack.

​Did you know: With 6,000 islands, there are many regional specialties, but wherever you are in Indonesia, most meals, including breakfast, are based around rice.
