Love is weird.  It’s a discovery, a revelation that you don’t necessarily see coming.  It’s as if you are walking down the street, then you turn a corner, and POW!  You just walk right into it.  It’s disorienting, a state of constant befuddlement while you stumble around through your day as if you had drank far too much the night before, and the hangover doesn’t come.

    At least, not right away.

The first time I ever sang in front of my work peers, it was back in maybe 1992, 1993, when I lived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  My band was called StepChild, and we had been suffering through a stint at a small club on Highway 17 called Crawdaddy’s.  We had a makeshift P.A. that our soundman struggled with the previous night, and this particular evening, his MacGyver impersonations were failing at every turn.  We had played there a few weeks before with a different soundman and better gear,

  • Caramore – Chocolate, Caramel… Cheese?

This incredible cheese is the brother of the weirdly popular Gjetost (Norwegian brown cheese). Gjetost is already the the nearest thing to “cheese fudge,” but Caramore takes it a step further and brings in a nice punch of chocolate flavor to the mix. It’s only been available in the market since 2016 and has pleasantly surprised everyone how has tried it.

The weird part? There is no chocolate or caramel added to this.

  • The Olive Pit 101 – “Advanced” Olives

Now that we’ve talked about what we consider to be “beginner” and “intermediate” olives, let’s talk advanced, you know, olives that are on the bolder side.

If you like green olives, try our Sicilian with Herb olive. Read article
