Let’s Talk BBQ Sauce – This Year’s Weekend of Fire X Best BBQ Sauces, That Is…

Back to feed
We’re still cooling off after this year’s 10th Anniversary Weekend of Fire, but we want to make sure that those of you who attended, and anyone who didn’t get a chance to check things out, can still get your hands on the best of the best (as voted by WOFX attendees). This week, we’re going to highlight the top 3 BBQ Sauces!

It’s almost time for non-stop holiday parties and celebrations, so we think bringing any one of these award-winning salsas along with you is going to kick things up a notch (and make you the hit of the party, of course). So check out this year’s WoFi winners for Best BBQ Sauce!

1st Place – Kentucky’s Smokin’ Grill

There’s something to be said for simplicity. Maybe it’s the expectations we have about what a BBQ is or should be – or maybe it’s just that, sometimes, they’re made so well it’s impossible to deny that they are truly exceptional. Kentucky’s Smokin’ Grill BBQ happens to meet you somewhere in the middle. Sweet, tangy, rich and, if you’re so inclined, spicy, this is the quintessential Midwest style BBQ sauce.

2nd Place – Grandad’s Original

Tradition is a powerful thing. Using a recipe handed down to them from, you guessed it, their Granddad, this BBQ packs immense flavor and, depending on which one you want, a pleasant, lasting heat. This was a favorite at this year’s Weekend of Fire – obviously – and for good reason. Much like the first place winner, Granddad’s Original exhibits all of the best qualities of BBQ sauce without any pomp or circumstance. It’s just really darn good.

3rd Place – Papi Joe’s

Laying it out for you right on the bottle, this “tart ‘n tangy” BBQ sauce has been a favorite at many Weekends of Fire. As far as BBQ sauces go, Papi Joe has a good handle on how to pack flavor and heat into the bottle, and to do so with his own personal touch. By no means a typical BBQ sauce, it’s still familiar enough to jump right in, but offers enough of Papi Joe’s personality to make it truly unique.

Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Weekend of Fire X WoFi Awards! Be sure to check out our next installment for the Best Hot Sauces as voted by you at Weekend of Fire X!
