Get Your NYE Snack On With Jungle Jim’s International Market

​Our Mexican foods department has a huge variety of tortilla chips. We pulled out some guacamole chips and some delicious chili pepper and lemon flavored chips to try with some freshly made avocado and tomatillo salsa. We have over ten salsas made fresh every single day at the Olive Pit. They range from mild, sweet, salsas to wild habanero and ghost pepper salsas.

​This sweet and savory snack is sure to please your guests more than some simple snack or trail mix. It’s fun for everyone!

​Shrimp chips are manufactured all around the world, but are mostly popular in China and Japan. The shrimp chips we selected are from Taiwan and are BBQ flavored. They are light, airy chips with a little salty shrimp taste baked right in. Yes, real shrimp are used to make these! Think of them like a crispy, crunchy take on the classic shrimp and cocktail sauce combo.

We chose two tasty treats from India, both being snack mixes. One is the Mirch Masala Aloo Bhujia, which are small noodles made from potatoes that are lightly spiced. The other is the Mirch Masala Madras Mix that is a well spiced mixture of sev, split chick peas, rice flakes and peanuts. Both of these products are very popular in India and are some of our favorites here!

​We have a big variety of mixed nuts available. During our explorations, we landed on a mixture of Spanish nuts that you can pair with a cheese and meat tray to go along with a nice wine. You’ll find these in the Cheese Shop, with our wide variety of Spanish cheeses!
