Let’s Talk Salsa – This Year’s Weekend of Fire X Best Salsas, That Is…

Back to feed
We’re still cooling off after this year’s 10th anniversary Weekend of Fire, but we want to make sure that both those of you who attended, and those who didn’t get a chance to check things out, can still get your hands on the best of the best (as voted by WOFX attendees). This week, we’re going to highlight the top 3 salsas!

It’s almost time for non-stop holiday parties and celebrations, so we think bringing any one of these award-winning salsas along with you is going to kick things up a notch (and make you the hit of the party, of course). So check out this year’s WoFi winners for Best Salsa!

1st Place – Little Diablo Salsa – Seared Pineapple and Ginger

Fresh flavor is hard to capture when it comes to jarred salsas, but Little Diablo’s Seared Pineapple and Ginger does so effortlessly. A semi-sweet salsa, this works equally well paired with chips or on burritos, tacos and even hamburgers. It’s a mild salsa, so you’re going to get a lot of the fruit and tomato as opposed to any heat – and that’s not a bad thing, because this salsa has flavor to spare.

2nd Place – Bob’s Best Salsa – Black Bean and Corn

Blending just the right amount of fresh, sweet corn, hearty black beans, tomatoes and their own blend of spices, Bob’s Best Salsa Black Bean and Corn is as good as this staple salsa gets. Coming in mild, medium and hot, so there’s the right amount of heat and flavor for everyone. For something a little more classic, this is a great salsa for parties, tailgates or to enjoy on your own as a snack.

3rd Place – Chili Rocks – Ghostly Reaper Salsa

If you’re looking for something that packs a big, bold wallop of heat, look no further than Chili Rocks’ Ghostly Reaper Salsa. Local to Cincinnati, this fresh, hot salsa isn’t nearly as intimidating as it sounds, but definitely has a noticeable kick. Keep it classic and pair with your favorite chips or dipper of choice, or bring the heat to your favorite dishes.

Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Weekend of Fire X WoFi Awards! Be sure to check out our next installment for the Best BBQ Sauces as voted by you at Weekend of Fire X!
